Statistics show that only a small percentage of our population really understands how finance works, especially as it relates to buying or building a home.

Although this is a sad commentary, it’s not our fault – it’s a result of our K12 and college education systems not providing the correct level of training in this area.  These systems provide basic financial classes but not the details you need – and the devil is in the details!  We need a post-secondary education system to supplement the basics we get in school.

Buying or building a home is the single largest financial decision you will ever make!  Remember how hard you, or your parents, or your counselors worked to help you locate college financing?  That same intensity should be applied to researching financial assistance when you purchase a home.  But, where do you get it?

The Internet is a wonderful resource for finding information, and you can find out almost anything you need to know about home financing there – but it is generally in bits and pieces, or is provided by the companies who provide the money, or you have to know the right questions to ask to get the answers you need.

Who do you ask if you are still confused after reviewing the information you locate on the Internet or from your lender about home finance?  There is no one person – until now!

Our company has years of experience steering our clients through the home finance maze.  We’ve been involved in thousands of transactions covering every aspect of the home buying process and have built a database of knowledge in how to do it right and how it’s sometimes done wrong.

Here, we intend to be a non-biased, non-intimidating, FREE resource of information for you to use in your financial decisions regarding the building, purchasing, refinancing, cash out refinancing, home equity borrowing, principal reduction, or strategic equity solutions on housing products.

Sure” you say, “you are a mortgage broker – why would you not be biased in your recommendations?  Well, this is a valid response.  In some cases, we will recommend our products or loan programs to you.  That is if we get to talk to you before you sign a purchase agreement, sign a construction contract, or complete a loan application.  If we get to speak to you before this stage in your home purchase process, you’ll get the benefit of our vast knowledge.  Then, as a more informed borrower, you can decide whether to obtain your financing with us, or select another source.

But our problem is we don’t always get to the home buyer in time to review their loan or advise them on its’ functionality vs their financial situation.  We hear about loan closing disasters from our Title, Realtor, Insurance, and other partners as well as potential new clients, after the fact – when it’s sometimes too late to fix.

The information provided here is for the public to use to help them feel more comfortable about their Lender, and to guarantee the deal they have put together is really in the borrower's best interest.

  • Are you already deep into your loan acquisition process?  Don’t worry, call us and we’ll help you review it before you close.
  • Have you already closed and are in the 3-day Right of Rescission period.  We’ll help you during the rescission period.
  • Have you already signed a construction project deal sheet?  We’ll help you get it right before you make an earnest money deposit or ask for a first draw.

Doesn’t it make sense to have a mortgage professional review your loan package before you sign on the dotted line – like you do when you have an Attorney review your Will or other documents, or have an accountant review or complete your tax returns?  Of course it does!  But until now, there was no single resource to handle this important task.
